Reserves Hit Form
Southbank Reserves have started 2006 in fine form. Following on from last
years poor run of results things were looking anything but rose for Andy
Persaud's side. However, two games in to 2006 and everything is on the up
with two good performances and even better results claiming The 'Bank 6 points
from two games, including toppling league leaders The Star 3-2.
Meanwhile Southbank first team returned to action with a disappointing 2-0
defeat at the hands of Mapledurham Cavaliers. A second half onslaught saw
Cavaliers run out worthy winners against an injury ravaged Southbank (click
here for more details).
A
greater level of commitment and application is needed for both teams to get the
most out of the remainder of the season! Don't forget this is a team game
and you'll only get out of it what you put in, so lets see a better attitude
for the next couple of months.
