Southbank returned from a four week lay off with a convincing 5-1 win against bottom of the table Kennet Vale who are now look consigned to relegation to Division 2.  The win was inspired by hatrick hero Ricky Gale with further goals coming from centre back pairing Simon 'Hightower' Price and Danny Fitzpatrick (click here for more details).  The win moves Southbank with touching distance of local rivals Englefield, and wins in Southbank's remaining 4 games, including the visit of Englefield, should ensure a top four position.

Meanwhile Southbank Reserves guaranteed Division 3 football next season with a last gasp winner against fellow mid-table side Club Deportivo La Star.  A goal in each half from youngster Raph Allen was enough to see Andy Persaud's men home whilst an outstanding performance in goal from Charlie Cook kept La Star at bay at the other end.
