Southbank picked up maximum points for the weekend with two well well earned victories.  The first team won 2-0 away at Alfreds Head whlist the Reserves eased to a 4-1 win over Victoria arms.

A Steve Woodrow freekick gave Southbank a 1-0 lead in a keenly contested local derby against Alfreds and the 3 points were sealed when a goal mouth scramble saw Danny Fitzpatrick get the last touch as the ball ended in the back of the net.  The performance was a continuation of Southbanks return to form with the midfield trio of Broomfield, Brown and Towner setting the tone for a good team display.

Reserve Player/Manager and goalkeeper scored his 4th of the season with a spot kick that completed the scoring against mid table Victoria Arms.  Goals from Malcolm Everest, Raph Allen and a Chris Sigsworth  screamer ensured the points as Southbank Reserves continue their promotion challenge.
