This weekend see's the long awaiting opening set of fixtures in the Reading Sunday League.

Pre-seasons are done and dusted and the real football starts here.  For Southbank that means kicking off the new campaign with some new and old faces as both squads have seen some comings and goings over the summer.

Hightower welcomes, amongst others new signings Neil Healy, Will Graham and Jamie Froude to his squad as they kick off the league away to Scours Lane based Abbey Rangers. 

Meanwhile the Reserves will be looking to find their feet in Division 2 at Coley Park against Thames Conservancy.  Looking to make their Southbank debuts will be new faces Dan Wakeham, Jay Jewell, Stefan Mann and Steve Halsey.

To keep up with the success on the pitch SouthbankFC.com will be looking to bring more regular updates and news for the upcoming season after a couple of quiet years.
