12th Sept 2004 - Reserves
Flying High as First Team Draw
The
2004-05 season has seen Southbank Reserves storm to two wins from their opening
two games following this weekends victory over Barton Rovers Res. The 4-2
win was sealed by a Malcolm Everest brace, finally notching his 100th goal
along the way, and goals for new signing Adam Wilson and Steve Rudd.
The
win follows on from last weeks 5-1 win over The Bull which saw both Player
Managers score during their first game in charge.
Meanwhile the First Team started life in the Premier Division with a 2-2 draw
at home to Early Home Guard. Despite taking a 2-0 lead thanks to strikes
from Steve Brown and Bryce Bellman Southbank failed to hold on for all three
points despite a hard working performance.
