24th March 2003 - Reserves
Suffer Semi-Final Heartache This weekend saw mixed fortunes for
the two Southbank teams. The Reserves went out of the John Lusted cup
despite putting up a great fight against Division 3 East leaders Palmer
FC. A Ben Neo wonder strike, a volley from 20 yards, looked set to have
forced the tie to extra time, but a last minute winner from Palmers outstanding
midfielder took a very good Palmer side into the final to face Englefield in a
mouthwatering contest (click here

In the meantime the First Team returned to winning ways with well deserved
3-1 victory over mid table Mortimer West End. Lee Didcock took his tally
to 3 in 2 games with a brace while Bryce Bellman return to form on the left win
and capped an almost vintage performance with well taken goal to end his goal
drought (click here
