of Season Award Winners Friday night saw the close of the
2003-04 season with the official end of season presentation night held at The
Bear Inn, Tilehurst.
This was the end of a mixed season for The 'Bank that saw the first team
bounce back from last season to achieve promotion to the Premier Division for
the first time. Congratulations to all involved because the whole squad
has made this possible. However, this really wouldn't have been possible
without Player/Manage Mark Holton, who's dedication and commitment hasn't
wilted one bit despite having the welcome distraction of daughter April and
self enforced reduced playing role (still managed a share of the Golden Boot
though!) .
The Reserves season never really got out of first gear and a
disappointing season sees Marc Osbourne step down as Reserve Team Manager to be
replace by a new "Dream Ticket" of Andy Persaud and Ian Harvey for next season.
