Andy Persaud's first game in sole charge of Southbank Reserves couldn't have
been any more eventful!
The action started straight from the kick off as a
sweeping move saw the ball moved about the pitch before Jeff Evans
opened his and Southbank's account with a well taken volley before No Limits
had even touched the ball!
Further goals from Steve Mahoney, a debut goal by summer signing
Tony Nolan, two further efforts from Big Gay Al and a token goal for
Player/Manager Persaud saw Southbank open up in style.
At the other end things were much the same. Former manager Ian
Harvey conceded 6 goals and No Limits even had a winning goal courtesy of a
Russ Simove OG ruled out as an unlikey 12 goal thriller was played out at
Coley Park.
!All in all a decent point to start off the campaign but hopefully things
will tighten up at the back in the weeks to come.
