SIX OF ONE, HALF A DOZEN OF THE OTHER!!!!!!!!!

Six in the first half and six in the second half. This is a nice feeling having won two games back to back. To make an understatement of the year yesterday was not the best team we are ever likely to play, However we can only beat the opposition that is put in front of us and the three points are very important. So we will take them no matter how they come. The win will lift us up the table with a few of the other teams in the league playing cup football yesterday. This season is far from over and we STILL CAN AND WILL end up at the right end of the table.

The first half started very brightly for us and we got of the mark pretty quickly I am not sure if I can remember what order the goals came in so if I get it wrong I do apologise but I am only human and there are a lot to talk about. I do know that the first came from an Andy Mac corner and Holton getting on the end of it. The second again same ball from Andy Mac's corner and same result Mark Holton netting his second, Also his fifth of the season joining Jeff Evans at the top of the Goal scorers. The Bank are leading 0-2 and looking like they are in total control and they are. Again another great performance from the back four especailly the center backs Nathen and Mahoney who was my man of the match (Well done Mahoney keep up the good work) Ali Mac had a steady game and again Karl Bozealt was his normal solid self.

Now we go further ahead as Holton goes up for a challenge and tries to get his hatrick making a clumsy Goalkeeper putting the ball in his own net 0-3.

The visitors are looking very comftable but at times too comftable and taking there foot of the pedal. I know that it is hard when you are playing weak oppostion but we must keep pressing boys as other teams may punish us if we allow them to. The fourth goal comes as we are awarded a penalty which the relaibale penanlty taker in Ian Harvey takes and converts its now 0-4.

The next comes From Jeff Evans who again never lets the Bank down and finds the back of the net (The race for golden boot between himself and also Holton looks like it will turn into a good race) now the game is 0-5. The last of the half comes from Andy Mac and a very well taken one with that sweet left foot of his.

The half ends with the bank leading the game 0-6 and it is already turning into a cricket score. Second half and a couple of subs Nathen leaving early to go and watch reading being replaced by Guppy and also I decided to take of Holton before he got his hatrick sorry I mean before he got injured he was replaced by the young and inexperinced Mike Green.

I have to confess the second half was a bit of blare I know that we scored another six goals. Goals coming from Tony Nolan who got two and played like he wants his shirt back in the starting line up "Well played mate". Also 2 from Oggie Holllway he came on for Andy Mac in the second half. Archie converted a penalty and he was very close to man of the match he played very well and out of position. And also Captian fantastic finding the back of the net.

The only thing that wound me up yesterday was Jeff being silly in the second half not going to harp on to much mate, but you are lucky that you are not out for 35 days our kid. IN FUTURE NO MATTER HOW MUCH SOMEONE GOES FOR ANY OF MY PLAYERS YOU WALK AWAY AND DON'T RETALIATE.

Boys I am well pleased with the last two weeks of football like I said before we can only beat what is in front of us but they still need beating.

Next week we are at home to the cheating B**tard ref and his Caversham United that was the manager that made us play about 57 in the second half and gave them a penanlty in the 47 minute, still they couldnt beat and hopefully we will have no allocation for a ref this week and I will ref and give him a taste of his own medicine. You know the Shout BLUE BALL, NO OFFSIDE FOR THE BANK AND THAT WAS NEVER A FOUL.

Well done boys lets keep the results coming we are heading in the right direction.

A massive thanks to Mitra and also Danny who never crossed the white line and may I add Mitra ran the line for 90 minutes and I bet you no one heard him moan once cheers mate........

When you read the paper I have given Archies Goal to Mahoney as he was Man Of Match and I also owe Guppy one from Jeffs list so don't think that I have lost my marbles......................
