After Southbank wasted a hatful of chances against a poor Cav Park team Jamie Foncette won and converted a penalty shortly before half time to give The Bank a 1-0 at the break. 

The second half saw continued pressure but with the introduction of substitute John Finnieston Southbank became more clinical in front of goal.  Finno quickly showed his class infront of goal and helped himself to a quickfire hatrick to make the scoreline a little more reflective of the game.
